You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, either to us or to the provider.

We have entered into a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

For data transfers to the provider's location, an adequate level of data protection is guaranteed by an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

5.2 When you contact us (e.g. via contact form or email), personal data is processed – solely for the purpose of handling and responding to your inquiry and only to the extent necessary for this.

The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. You can delete your customer account at any time by sending a message to the controller's address given above. After your customer account has been deleted, your data will be deleted provided all contracts concluded through it have been fully processed, no statutory retention periods conflict with this, and we no longer have a legitimate interest in continued storage.

7) Use of customer data for direct marketing

7.1 Signing up for our email newsletter

If you sign up for our email newsletter, we will regularly send you information about our offers. The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your email address. Providing further data is voluntary and is used to address you personally. For sending the newsletter we use the so-called double opt-in procedure, which ensures that you only receive the newsletter once you have expressly confirmed your consent to receive it by clicking a verification link sent to the email address you provided.

By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to use your personal data in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. In doing so, we store the IP address assigned by your internet service provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of registration, so that any misuse of your email address can be traced at a later date. The data we collect when you sign up for the newsletter is used strictly for this purpose.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link provided in the newsletter or by sending a corresponding message to the controller named at the beginning. Once you have unsubscribed, your email address will be deleted from our newsletter distribution list without delay, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve a further use of your email address for advertising purposes that is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this notice.

After unsubscribing from the newsletter, your email address may be stored on a so-called blocklist and compared there with recipient lists for future newsletters, in order to technically prevent further sending of newsletters that require consent. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in avoiding unwanted advertising mailings in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Device information (e.g. time of access, IP address, browser type and operating system) is also collected and evaluated in the process, but is not merged with other data sets.

You may withdraw your consent to email tracking at any time with effect for the future.

We have entered into a data processing agreement with the provider that protects the data of our site visitors and prohibits disclosure to third parties.

If, based on a corresponding contract, we owe you updates for goods with digital elements or for digital products, we process the contact data you provided with your order in order to inform you personally within the scope of our statutory information obligations pursuant to Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. Name, address and, if applicable, further personal data are passed on to the provider in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR solely for the purpose of processing the online order. Your data is only passed on to the extent actually necessary for processing the order.

8.3 Disclosure of personal data to shipping service providers

- DHL

As a transport service provider we use the following provider: DHL Paket GmbH, Charles-de-Gaulle-Str. 20, 53113 Bonn, Germany

We pass on your email address and/or telephone number to the provider in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR prior to delivery of the goods for the purpose of coordinating a delivery date or for delivery notification, provided you have given your express consent to this during the ordering process. Otherwise, for the purpose of delivery, we only pass on the recipient's name and delivery address to the provider in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. This disclosure is made only to the extent necessary for delivery of the goods. In this case, prior coordination of the delivery date with the provider or a delivery notification is not possible.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future, either to the controller named above or to the provider.

8.4 Use of payment service providers

- Apple Pay

If you choose “Apple Pay”, the payment method of Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, payment is processed via the “Apple Pay” function on your device running iOS, watchOS or macOS, by charging a payment card stored in “Apple Pay”. Apple Pay uses security features integrated into the hardware and software of your device to protect your transactions. Authorizing a payment therefore requires entering a code you previously set as well as verification via your device's “Face ID” or “Touch ID” function.

For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the ordering process, together with information about your order, is passed on to Apple in encrypted form. Apple then encrypts this data again with a developer-specific key before it is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay in order to carry out the payment. The encryption ensures that only the website through which the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific dynamic security code to the originating website to confirm that the payment was successful.

To the extent that personal data is processed in the transmissions described above, this processing is carried out solely for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Apple retains anonymized transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, the approximate date and time, and whether the transaction was completed successfully. Anonymization fully excludes any reference to a specific person. Apple uses the anonymized data to improve “Apple Pay” and other Apple products and services.

If you use Apple Pay on an iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase made via Safari on a Mac, the Mac and the authorization device communicate over an encrypted channel on Apple's servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that could identify you. You can disable the ability to use Apple Pay on your Mac in your iPhone settings. Go to “Wallet & Apple Pay” and disable “Allow Payments on Mac.”

Further information on data protection with Apple Pay can be found at: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203027
- Google Pay

If you choose “Google Pay”, the payment method of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”), payment is processed via the payment method stored in your Google account.
Authorizing a payment via Google Pay on desktop requires prior login to your Google account; authorization on a mobile device requires completing the corresponding verification process (e.g. facial recognition, password, fingerprint or pattern).

For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the ordering process, together with information about your order, is passed on to Google. Google then transmits your payment information stored in Google Pay to the originating website in the form of a one-time transaction number, which is used to verify that a payment has been made. This transaction number contains no information about the actual payment data of the payment method stored in Google Pay, but is generated and transmitted as a numeric token valid only once. In all transactions via Google Pay, Google acts merely as an intermediary for processing the payment. The transaction is carried out exclusively between the user and the originating website by charging the payment method stored with Google Pay.

To the extent that personal data is processed in the transmissions described above, this processing is carried out solely for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Google reserves the right to collect, store and evaluate certain transaction-specific information for each transaction made via Google Pay. This includes the date, time and amount of the transaction, the merchant's location and description, a description of the purchased goods or services provided by the merchant, any photos you attached to the transaction, the name and email address of the seller and buyer or sender and recipient, the payment method used, your description of the reason for the transaction, and, if applicable, any offer associated with the transaction.

According to Google, this processing is carried out solely in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of the legitimate interest in proper invoicing, verification of transaction data, and the optimization and maintenance of the Google Pay service.

Google also reserves the right to merge the processed transaction data with further information collected and stored by Google when you use other Google services.

The terms of use for Google Pay can be found here:

If you choose a payment method from the provider under which you make an advance payment, your payment data provided during the ordering process (including name, address, bank and payment card information, currency and transaction number) as well as information about the content of your order will be passed on to the provider in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Your data is passed on in this case solely for the purpose of payment processing with the provider and only to the extent necessary for this.

In order to safeguard our legitimate interest in determining your creditworthiness in such cases, this data is passed on by us to the provider for the purpose of a credit check in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Based on the personal data you provided as well as further data (such as the shopping cart, invoice amount, order history, payment experience), the provider checks whether the payment option you selected can be granted with regard to payment and/or default risks.

The credit report may contain probability values (so-called score values). To the extent that score values are included in the credit report, they are based on a scientifically recognized mathematical-statistical procedure. Address data, among other things but not exclusively, is included in the calculation of the score values.

You may object to this processing of your data at any time by sending us a message or by contacting the provider directly. However, the provider may nevertheless remain entitled to process your personal data if this is necessary for payment processing under the contract.
- PayPal Checkout

This website uses PayPal Checkout, an online payment system from PayPal, which combines PayPal's own payment methods with local payment methods from third-party providers.

When paying via PayPal, credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal or – if offered – “Pay Later” via PayPal, we pass on your payment data to PayPal (Europe) S.a.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (hereinafter “PayPal”) as part of payment processing. This disclosure is made in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and only to the extent necessary for payment processing.

PayPal reserves the right to carry out a credit check for the payment methods credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal, or – if offered – “Pay Later” via PayPal. For this purpose, your payment data may be passed on to credit agencies in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of PayPal's legitimate interest in determining your creditworthiness. PayPal uses the result of the credit check regarding the statistical probability of default to decide on the provision of the respective payment method. The credit report may contain probability values (so-called score values). To the extent that score values are included in the credit report, they are based on a scientifically recognized mathematical-statistical procedure. Address data, among other things but not exclusively, is included in the calculation of the score values. You may object to this processing of your data at any time by contacting PayPal. However, PayPal may nevertheless remain entitled to process your personal data if this is necessary for payment processing under the contract.

If the PayPal payment method “invoice purchase” is available and selected, your payment data is first transmitted to PayPal to prepare the payment, whereupon PayPal forwards it to Ratepay GmbH, Franklinstraße 28-29, 10587 Berlin (“Ratepay”) to carry out the payment. In each case, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In this case, RatePay carries out an identity and credit check in its own name to determine creditworthiness in accordance with the principle already described above and passes on your payment data to credit agencies on the basis of its legitimate interest in determining creditworthiness in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A list of the credit agencies that Ratepay may use can be found here: https://www.ratepay.com/legal-payment-creditagencies/

If you use the payment method of a local third-party provider, your payment data is first passed on to PayPal in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR to prepare the payment. 9.1 Google Analytics 4

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”), which enables an analysis of your use of our website.

By default, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies when you visit the website, which are stored as small text files on your device and collect certain information. This information also includes your IP address, which, however, is shortened by Google by the last digits in order to rule out direct identification of you as a person.

The information is transmitted to Google's servers and further processed there. Transmissions to Google LLC, headquartered in the USA, are also possible.

Google uses the information collected on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for us, and to provide other services related to the use of the website and the internet. The shortened IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. The data collected in connection with the use of Google Analytics 4 is stored for a period of two months and then deleted.

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies on the device used, is only carried out if you have given us your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Without your consent, Google Analytics 4 will not be used during your visit to the site. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your right of withdrawal, please disable this service via the “cookie consent tool” provided on the website.

We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google that ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

Further legal information on Google Analytics 4 can be found at https://business.safety.google/intl/en/privacy/, https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en&gl=en and at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Demographic characteristics
Google Analytics 4 uses the special “demographic characteristics” feature and can use it to compile statistics providing information on the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This is done by analyzing advertising and information from third-party providers. This makes it possible to identify target groups for marketing activities. However, the data collected cannot be attributed to a specific person and is deleted after a storage period of two months.

Google Signals
As an extension to Google Analytics 4, Google Signals may be used on this website to generate cross-device reports. If you have activated personalized ads and linked your devices to your Google account, Google may, subject to your consent to the use of Google Analytics pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, analyze your usage behavior across devices and create database models, including cross-device conversions. We do not receive any personal data from Google, only statistics. If you wish to stop cross-device analysis, you can disable the “personalized advertising” feature in your Google account settings. To do so, follow the instructions on this page: https://support.google.com/My-Ad-Center-Help/answer/12155764?hl=en
Further information on Google Signals can be found at the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7532985?hl=en

User IDs
As an extension to Google Analytics 4, the “User IDs” feature may be used on this website. If you have consented to the use of Google Analytics 4 pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, have set up an account on this website, and sign in with this account on different devices, your activities, including conversions, may be analyzed across devices.

However, Google Tag Manager transmits your IP address to Google when the page is accessed, where it may be stored. Transmission to the servers of Google LLC in the USA is also possible.

This processing is only carried out if you have given us your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Without this consent, Google Tag Manager will not be used during your visit to the site. Within our online offering we use the “Meta Pixel” service from the following provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland (“Meta”)

If a user clicks on an advertisement placed by us on Facebook and/or Instagram, “Meta Pixel” adds a parameter to the URL of our linked page. After the redirect, this URL parameter is then stored in the user's browser via a cookie set by our linked page itself.

This enables Meta, on the one hand, to define visitors to our online offering as a target group for the display of advertisements (so-called “ads”). Accordingly, we use this service to show the Facebook and/or Instagram ads placed by us only to users who have shown an interest in our online offering or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products, determined on the basis of the websites visited) that we transmit to Meta (so-called “custom audiences”).

On the other hand, “Meta Pixel” makes it possible to track whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on an advertisement and what actions they then took there (so-called “conversion tracking”).

In addition to “Meta Pixel”, which transmits data about your browser to Meta, the “Meta Conversions API” may also be used. If used, information about certain actions on our website (so-called “events”, e.g. page views, adding products to the shopping cart, initiating the checkout process or completing an order) is transmitted via an interface directly from our server to Meta's servers, rather than via your browser. This serves to make the measurement of the success of our advertisements more reliable, for example when browser-side transmission is not possible or only partially possible due to technical restrictions. Within the scope of the “Meta Conversions API”, the following data in particular may be transmitted to Meta: type and time of the event, the URL accessed, information about ordered products and their value, your IP address, information about your browser and device (user agent), and the identifiers stored in the Meta cookies. To avoid duplicate recording of the same information by “Meta Pixel” and “Meta Conversions API”, each event is assigned an identifier that Meta uses to merge the transmissions.

The data collected is anonymous to us, meaning it does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of users. However, the data is stored and processed by Meta, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Meta can use the data for its own advertising purposes.

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the device used, is only carried out if you have given us your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by disabling this service via the “cookie consent tool” provided on the website.

We and Meta are joint controllers for the collection of data via “Meta Pixel” and its transmission to Meta (Art. 26 GDPR). For this purpose, we have entered into an agreement with Meta on joint controllership, the essential content of which you can view at https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum.

For the evaluation of the data, its assignment to predefined events, and for the creation of measurement and analysis reports, Meta acts as our processor in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR and, under the data processing agreement available at https://facebook.com/legal/terms/dataprocessing, is obligated to protect the data of our site visitors and customers.

The information generated by Meta is generally transmitted to and stored on a Meta server; in this context, transmission to the servers of Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA may also occur.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which, based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission, ensures compliance with the European level of data protection.

10.2 Google Ads Remarketing

This website uses retargeting technology from the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland

For this purpose, Google sets a cookie in your device's browser, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by means of a pseudonymous cookie ID and on the basis of the pages you have visited. The information collected in this way generally also includes your IP address.

Further processing of data only takes place if you have consented to Google linking your web and app browsing history to your Google account and using information from your Google account to personalize ads you see on the web. In this case, if you are logged in to Google while visiting our website, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define audience lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, your personal data is temporarily linked by Google with Google Analytics data to form audiences. Within the scope of using Google Ads Remarketing, personal data may also be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC in the USA.

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the device used, is only carried out if you have given us your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Without this consent, retargeting technology will not be used during your visit to the site.

You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your right of withdrawal, please disable this service via the “cookie consent tool” provided on the website.

10.3 OptiMonk

This website uses retargeting technology from the following provider: WebShop Marketing Ltd., 129 Kassai Street, Debrecen 4028, Hungary

This enables us to specifically target visitors to our website with personalized, interest-based advertising for visitors who have already shown interest in our shop and our products. The advertisements are displayed on the basis of a cookie-based analysis of past and current usage behavior.

In the case of retargeting technology, a cookie is stored on your computer or mobile device in order to collect pseudonymized data about your interests and thereby tailor advertising individually to the stored information. These cookies are small text files stored on your computer or mobile device. This allows you to be shown advertising that is highly likely to match your product and information interests.

10.4 Google Ads Conversion Tracking

This website uses the online advertising program “Google Ads” and, within Google Ads, the conversion tracking of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”). We use Google Ads to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites by means of advertising materials (so-called Google AdWords). We can determine how successful individual advertising measures are in relation to the advertising campaign data. In doing so, we pursue the goal of showing you advertising that is of interest to you, making our website more interesting for you, and achieving a fair calculation of advertising costs.

The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device. These cookies generally expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across the websites of Google Ads customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie, which also includes your IP address, is used to generate conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that could be used to personally identify users. Within the scope of using Google Ads, personal data may also be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC in the USA.

Details on the processing triggered by Google Ads Conversion Tracking and on how Google handles website data can be found here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

You can also permanently object to the setting of cookies by Google Ads Conversion Tracking by downloading and installing the Google browser plug-in available at the following link:

10.5 Pinterest Tag Conversion Tracking without Customer Matching

This website uses the conversion tracking technology of the following provider: Pinterest Europe Limited, 3rd Floor, Waterloo Exchange, Waterloo Road, Dublin 4, Ireland

If you arrived on our website from an advertisement on the provider's domain, cookies and/or comparable technologies (tracking pixels, web beacons, pings or HTTP requests) can be used to track the success of the advertisement.

For this purpose, certain device and browser information, including, where applicable, your IP address, is read using the tracking technology in order to record and evaluate user actions predefined by us (e.g. completed transactions, leads, search queries on the website, views of product pages). This enables us to compile statistics about usage behavior on our website following a redirect from an advertisement, which serve to optimize our offering.

We have entered into a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

11) Website functions

11.1 - Google reCAPTCHA

On this website we use the CAPTCHA service of the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland

Data may also be transmitted to: Google LLC, USA.

“Google Fonts”, i.e. fonts loaded from the internet by Google, are used by the provider for the visual design of the captcha window. No further information is processed beyond that mentioned above, which is already transmitted to Google via the functionality of ReCaptcha.

The service checks whether an input is made by a natural person or fraudulently by machine and automated processing, and blocks spam, DDoS attacks and similar automated malicious accesses. To ensure that an action is performed by a human and not by an automated bot, the provider collects the IP address of the device used, identification data of the browser and operating system type used, as well as the date and duration of the visit, and transmits this to the provider's servers for evaluation. Cookies, i.e. small text files stored in the device's browser, may be used for this purpose.

To the extent that the processing described above is based on cookies, these are only set if you have given us your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by disabling this service via the “cookie consent tool” provided on the website.

If the processing described above is carried out without the use of cookies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in determining individual accountability on the internet and in preventing misuse and spam in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We have entered into a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which, based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission, ensures compliance with the European level of data protection.

11.2 Uptain

To improve interaction with our visitors, we use a JavaScript plugin from uptain GmbH, Obergrünewalder Str. 8 a, 42103 Wuppertal (“uptain plugin”). This allows us to analyze your use of the website and improve customer engagement (e.g. via a dialog window). For this purpose, we collect information about your usage behavior, i.e. cursor movement, time spent on page, links clicked and, where applicable, information provided.

All processing described above, in particular the reading of information on the device used, is only carried out if you have given us your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Without this consent, Uptain will not be used during your visit to the site.

You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your right of withdrawal, please disable this service via the “cookie consent tool” provided on the website.

We have entered into a data processing agreement with Uptain under which we require Uptain to protect our customers' data and not pass it on to third parties.

You may alternatively permanently object to Uptain's web analytics at any time by activating an opt-out link, by disabling the use of the uptain plugin at any time via the following link: https://www.rs-trade.de/?__up_tracking_unsubscribe

12) Tools and other matters

12.1 DATEV

For bookkeeping we use the cloud-based accounting software service of the following provider: DATEV eG, Paumgartnerstr. 6-14, 90429 Nuremberg, Germany

The provider processes incoming and outgoing invoices as well as, where applicable, our company's bank transactions in order to automatically record invoices, match them to transactions, and from this create financial accounting in a semi-automated process.

To the extent that personal data is also processed in this context, the processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in the efficient organization and documentation of our business transactions in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

12.2 Cookie consent tool

This website uses a so-called “cookie consent tool” to obtain effective user consent for cookies and cookie-based applications that require consent. The “cookie consent tool” is displayed to users when the page is accessed in the form of an interactive user interface, on which consent for certain cookies and/or cookie-based applications can be given by checking a box. Through the use of this tool, all cookies/services requiring consent are only loaded if the respective user has given the relevant consent by checking the box. This ensures that such cookies are only set on the respective user's device if consent has been given.

The tool sets technically necessary cookies to store your cookie preferences. As a general rule, no personal user data is processed in this context.

If, in individual cases, personal data (such as the IP address) is nevertheless processed for the purpose of storing, assigning or logging cookie settings, this is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in legally compliant, user-specific and user-friendly consent management for cookies and thus in a legally compliant design of our website.

A further legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. As controller, we are subject to the legal obligation to make the use of technically unnecessary cookies dependent on the respective user's consent.

Where necessary, we have entered into a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

Further information on the operator and the setting options of the cookie consent tool can be found directly in the corresponding user interface on our website.

13) Rights of the data subject

13.1 Under applicable data protection law, you have the following rights (rights of access and intervention) vis-à-vis the controller with regard to the processing of your personal data, with reference being made to the applicable legal basis for the respective conditions of exercise:

  • Right of access pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR;
  • Right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR;
  • Right to erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR;

IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL CEASE PROCESSING THE DATA CONCERNED. FURTHER PROCESSING REMAINS RESERVED IF WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR IF THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENSE OF LEGAL CLAIMS.

IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED BY US FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH ADVERTISING. YOU CAN EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.

IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL CEASE PROCESSING THE DATA CONCERNED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES.

14) Duration of storage of personal data

The duration of storage of personal data is determined by the respective legal basis, the purpose of processing and, where applicable, the respective statutory retention period (e.g. retention periods under commercial and tax law).

Where personal data is processed on the basis of express consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, the data concerned is stored until you withdraw your consent.

Where statutory retention periods exist for data processed within the framework of legal transactions or quasi-legal obligations on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, this data is routinely deleted after expiry of the retention periods, unless it is still required for the performance or initiation of a contract and/or we no longer have a legitimate interest in its continued storage.

Where personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, this data is stored until you exercise your right to object pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

Where personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, this data is stored until you exercise your right to object pursuant to Art. 21(2) GDPR.

Unless otherwise indicated by the other information in this notice regarding specific processing situations, stored personal data will otherwise be deleted once it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.
